To be completely fair to CORM in this, saying something is "common knowledge" is not good enough. The rules in terms of POS modules and sovereignty is extreamly complex, and there is no place that you can look for these details. Yes some lifeless people will say "just look at 4 years of patch notes and spend days on the test server" but for those with lives this is not an option. There simply is no place to go to find out these things and frankly expecting players to stumble and figure these things out for themselves is just not good enough . Even if you are making a pretense of a level playing field for players, which CCP does make a pretense of occasionally.
Their fault is not lack of knowledge. Their fault in this was making an assumption and hoping the assumption was true.
As for the OP leaked post. That was a actually a very well thought out and well put post. Klutch has nothing to be ashamed of in what he said, and in fact saying what he did is an extreamly healthy thing to do. 3 posts telling him to shut the hell up followed by a post deletion was not healthy at all and frankly says more about what going on in CORM than anything else.

Yes there are belts in 1.0 systems in Empire and yes they contain Veldspar.
Shall we just concede this point and move on to flame in something slightly relevant to this post?
